Picture this: It's move-in weekend, class starts on Monday, and you get a phone call from one of your parents that they have been laid off from work. You were anticipating having their help to buy some of your books for the semester. How are you going to afford everything you need?!
Participate in the 2019 Senior Pride Campaign to support The Western New England University Student Emergency Fund with a gift of $20.19! This fund is managed by the Dean of Students and is used to help students in need pay for their text books and other necessities when they are affected by family emergencies, natural disasters, and other hardships. This way, these students don’t have to worry about falling behind in their classes.
The reason that the Class of 2019 Council chose to put our gift towards this fund is that as students we all understand the fear and stress of knowing that there is a chance we may not be able to afford expenses like these for one reason or another. Our class gift will help any future students affected by hardship or disaster by ensuring that they know that we, as a community, care about them and their success as students.
Your gift of $20.19 will continue our University's legacy of giving back and will help supply relief to fellow Golden Bears.
