Honoring Dean Andy Mulcahy
Dean Andy Mulcahy was a significant figure in Western New England University's history. He impacted countless students during his tenure at the University from 1961 until his retirement in 1993. Many students had "meetings" with the Dean, but we can all agree that he was firm and fair as he worked to create a clear understanding of facts, causes, and conditions of many and varied situations. His leadership and dedication to providing students great opportunities for personal growth inspired us as students both on campus and beyond graduation.
To honor his legacy here at the University, the Class of 1969 has launched the Andrew J. Mulcahy Jr. Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to a returning undergraduate student with financial need who has demonstrated leadership skills or community involvement.
As fellow alumni, we invite you to join us in giving other students what Dean Mulcahy gave to us-- an opportunity to grow and thrive at Western New England.
