Be in touch with the Advancement Office to pitch your project —events, conferences, tech, sports, science, theatre, art, or more!
Crowdfunding is sponsorship by a crowd of many donors, each making an individual, small donation to help you succeed. It works best when you put your energy into reaching out and talking about your project with people who are most likely to help.
Your donors will be individuals such as alumni, friends, and family. Occasionally, they may also be complete strangers! How many people your project reaches is up to you!
Yes! There is no ceiling to how much you can raise, as long as you are able to find the donors.
When you publish your idea or event, we call it a project. For your idea to become a project, you must have a clear goal and be able to explain how you will spend the funds you raise. All project ideas must be approved first by your division or organization's senior leadership (Advisor, Dean, Vice President, Senior Director, etc.) and then by the Advancement Office.
We cover the costs of the platform so 100% of gifts go directly to your project.
